There is no detector feedback in the loop

How to test the difference honestly
- 01Take a paragraph you have already run through QuillBot and check it on any AI detector. Note the score.

Sometimes, incidentally, but it was not built to and it does not verify. Detectors measure statistical regularity in sentence structure and word choice, and paraphrasing preserves most of that structure while changing the words. Heavily paraphrased AI text still commonly scores as machine written.
Run the original AI text through HumanGPT instead. Stacking two rewriting tools tends to damage meaning without helping the score, because the second tool is working on text that has already drifted from what you meant.
No, and that distinction matters. A paraphraser optimises for different wording.
